यह सही है कि किसी धर्म या सम्प्रदाय को आतंकवाद से जोड़ कर नहीं देखना चाहिए क्योंकि किसी भी धर्म या सम्प्रदाय के सभी व्यक्ति कभी भी आतंकवादी नहीं हो सकते. साथ ही यह भी सही है कि सभी आतंकवादी विदेश से नहीं आते. उनकी योजना चाहे विदेश में बनती हो, चाहे उनकी के संसाधन विदेश से आते हो परन्तु उनसे सहानभूति रखनेवाले, उनको सहायता देने वाले और उनकी तरफ से उनकी योजना को कार्यान्वित करने वाले इसी देश में रहते है. इस बात का प्रमाण इस देश में होनी वाली गिरफ्तारियों है. आखिर कोई यह क्यों नहीं बताता कि स्लीपर सेल क्या चीज़ है? कहाँ और किस देश के लोग स्लीपर सेल में शामिल होते है? जहाँ मीडिया और सेक्युलर वर्ग गुजरात में हुई शर्मनाक घटना तो उजागिर करने पर लगा है, वही क्या उसका कर्तव्य आतंकवाद और उससे सम्बंधित व्यक्तियों और गिरोह को उजागर करना नहीं है? अगर मीडिया और सेक्युलर वर्ग केवल संप्रदाय विशेष के प्रति होने वाले कतिपय अन्याय को ही उजागर करता रहेगा और समाज में फैलने वाले आतंकवाद के प्रति उदासीन रहेगा तो क्या यह ना माना जाए कि उसका ध्येय केवल और केवल राजनैतिक है और उसकी पूरी मुहीम केवल मोदी और बीजेपी विरोधी ही है?
