The time has dawned . Re-emergence of the Indian nation is on the cards. Pseudo-nationalists and terrorists alone can oppose such a move . It is of course none of any other country’s concern as to his we re-organise our States for administration purposes .
The recent instance of division of the largest State in south of India ,Andhra Pradesh State being split into two States ,against the will of the peoples of the State is an eye-opener on the way ,might of the Legislature can be utilised by a Government in the saddle of power . Article -370 must be abrogated , scrapped and done away with .
How the Government of mr.Modi goes about it is definitely going to be an act of repayment of debt to the Rastriya Swayamsewak Sangh , the pivotal force of patriotism in NaMo ‘s India as it has been across the freedom movement of Indian nation.
The immediate statements of local elements like Omar Abdullah ,son of farooq Abdullah ,son of sheikh Abdullah or of mehbooba mufti syed are not just innocuous but reek of hegemony,secessionist , fissiparous tendencies that got ingrained into their psyche largely on account of a partial Nehru and few cowardly co-members of then Constituent Assembly who could not stand by iron-willed Sardar Vallabhai Patel ,to stem the rot of the draconian ‘article’ pumped into the blood-stream of the peace loving Indian Nation.
Neither Pakistan nor Bangladesh nor Sri Lanka nor Bhutan nor Ghana nor Canada nor USA nor Russia nor Afghanistan nor UK nor Australia or any of the other members of the United Nations Organisation have anything to do with such internal affairs of Indian Republic just as we do not have one bit of right to interfere in the internal disturbances by anti -social elements of these jurisdictions .
A politically motivated decision resulted in a monumental blunder . So, it may be rectified only by another political decision . The time has dawned for all citizens who have voted with a resolution to improve the plight of suffering masses reeling under rampant corruption, depleted fiscal resources ,to stand up and enforce the will of the Nation . Trash the devious suggestions of a referendum which is inapplicable in the matter . End the impasse on state of form of J & K for nationhood of India remains at stake with self -professed anarchists raising their ugly head and screaming hoarse over will of the people .
Do not be deterred by stone -pesters or venom -spewing local politicos in that part of the country . Focus on reunifying the nation with a common civil code , applicable uniformly across imaginary dividing lines of religion ,caste or creed . Scrap article -370 which endows a peculiar ‘ neither yours nor mine ‘ mental block created by devilry of a dead and gone Premier at helm of affairs of then newly formed Union of India .
‘Union of India’ is a government incomplete unless the embargo on free movement of citizens of India into and outside the northernmost State of Jammu & Kashmir be lifted.
Only a statesman of calibre of mr.Modi can undo the untold mental agony suffered by countless families over the decades since late Jawaharlal Nehru succumbed to internecine policies . It is but an irony that on the global arena, he had advocated the ‘ panchasheel / non-alignment policy ‘ ,most vociferously . A legacy which has been inherited by successors of his mantle of office as the Prime Minister of the world’s largest democracy . Coalition- governments never dared to break the status-quo position of J & K even as a warring neighbour eyes the strategically situated State with greed and avarice .
NaMo must not be cowed down by tell -tale accounts or speculative fears of coterie of seasoned advisers that may be approached for views on the subject . Nothing is more sensitive than the suffering millions of a free nation being restricted from moving around freely in a certain portion or being displaced from homeland . Homeland security and national border safety factors should prompt immediate ,decisive action in the Prime Minister of India backed by a resolution in the Parliament of India to scrap article -370 . Only the fear psychosis generated by detractors is huge . Setting right an anomaly is not .
More importantly , nobody is precluded from voicing a desire to have this umbilical cord cut and a still -born nation being given the full and complete birth it deserves . Six decades of incompetence or motivated mischief must not frighten a Nation that supplies the much -needed able,hard-working manpower to all corners of the globe .
Jai Hind ! This ,the refrain of all citizens of India . Peace be unto all world . Every country has it’s own share of local problems resulting from global economic depression for them to venture to dabble in internal affairs of India.

Till today, i knew in brief about this issue.
But, understood the depth today, after reading the detailed article. Especially the linkage between Nizams of Hyderabad and this issue.
Youngsters of my age group, generally avoid to read or discuss these topics, finding it boring or they say, “Apne ko kya fark padta hai yaar”, but, being a true citizen of India, it is our responsibility to atleast be aware of our history and its implications, so that, on right time, we will be able to contribute, if required.
I think, one way or the other, the issues like corruption, reservation or Article 370, do effect each and every citizen of country, because, we are child of “Bharat mata” and if it effects my country then i cant go unaffected!

As one who spoke extensively on the Fai case along with former Union Home Secretary and a true nationalist who handled the Nizam of Hyderabad estate cases,as chief architect and prevented the export/siphoning away of national wealth, as one who braved assaults for safeguarding nation’s interests, I do not view article -370 as a subject of debate but thorny bone to be dismantled from the system of Indian polity . Scrap 370 and get done with it.
Enemies within the nation are more than foes attacking from across the birders.
Wake up folk. Stop being timid, docile even as hype is being mischievously created by those acting against unity and integrity of India.
No more vacillation.
There are no two arguments to the truth.
NaMo will become a chairman Mao if he scraps article -370.
He has the guts ,the vision as well as the backing.

Highly controversial issue. There is no straight forward solution to 370. It has its own defects & benefits.
The author has pointed out many points which are valid. However we should engage some author from other side too. Problem is they are not forth coming as they have been told that J&K is not part of India or Pakistan. They want their own country.
I think, we can talk but not in aggressive way. Let us talk some more time..say 15-20 years & when new generation is mature & willingly to accept India as their own country, we can remove 370.
I appreciate Author’s effort & study on this subject.
Thanks to your invitation, I was able to pen the thoughts on the burning issue ,conveniently sidelined by predecessor minority governments of India . We must wearing blinkers of non alignment,appeasement,and so forth.

Art.370 was a cementing factor when Constitution was drafted but unfortunatalythe cement has not dried up even in 65 yrs.Likewise,reservation policy which was a temporary measure for 10 yrs.have become a permanent feature.

Scrapping article -370 will alone help cement the national ethos with its citizens . Rest of india must not be restricted from stepping into J & K nor certain segments driven out or killed by terrorists from their native State of J & K .
