The statement that Delhi Govt is right but Kejriwal is wrong looks contradictory statement as Delhi Govt is under Kejriwal, then how Delhi Govt may be right if Kejriwal is wrong & how Kejriwal may be wrong if Delhi Govt is right. Let us see how it is.
Delhi Government is right: How???
Nowadays, you open any news channel, read any newspaper or go to friends/relative house, only one topic is being discussed and the topic is Delhi Jan Lokpal Bill-2014 which should be actually called as Delhi Lokayukta Bill-2014. My friends who have better wisdom & knowledge than me have enlightened me that this Delhi Lokayukta Bill-2014 is better than Jan Lokpal Bill-2013 on some counts & is more effective than Centre’s Lokpal Bill. In this case it is our duty to extend our good will & thanks to Kejriwal & Co. Personally I am in favour in passing the strongest Lokpal Bill so that not only current corrupt officers/officials, political leaders, their henchmen, corrupt corporate & NGO heads are caught & put behind the bar but fear is istalled in heart of all those who have or will have any intention of indulging in corrupt practices. It should also create responsibility & duty in general public not to encourage corrupt practices for their conveniences.
If Kejriwal & Co has this noble intention in bringing this Delhi Lokayukta Bill-2014, we all must extend our support to him & to his team. I sincerely hope all opposition MLAs will support this bill whole heartedly because it is last hope for so many victims of corrupt practices. (Warning to opposition parties)
I further wish that no one should be allowed to hide behind the curtain of rules & regulations so that the bill is not allowed to table in the assembly or do such act which may become a reason in dragging this very important bill in court of law for years together.(Warning to Kejriwal & Company)
Now let us have a look on the rules for tabling the bill. In this case opinions are divided. Most of the experts say that this bill can’t be tables in the Delhi Vidhan Sabha without prior approval from Lt. Governor. While others & AAP party experts opine that it does not need any such approval. Both may be right & both may be wrong or both may be partially right and partially wrong.
Laws are nothing but “Codified common sense”. The common sense says that Delhi Lok Sabha should have power to table, discuss & pass or reject the Bill with majority of votes, as other assemblies are allowed to do. Otherwise there is no fun having 70 MLA strong Assembly. The above statement has come out from common sense, so it will be upheld if challenged in the court. At the same time, it is also true that it would takes years to decide this type of case. As per my view, current Delhi Government is right is asserting Delhi assembly’s right to table, discuss & pass this or any other bill if majority of MLAs support the bill.
But Kejriwal & Co is wrong in asserting their right to table, discuss & pass this bill if majority of MLAs support the bill without taking LG’s prior permission in this particular case.

Kudos to the Yugvani Editor. I think he has rightly pointed out that AK should not let this opportunity to be wasted. But, his intentions ( as usual) are suspect.
Delhi has a puppet government proposed up by political compulsions of the winner and runner up of recent elections. Thus, it is bit a ‘government’,strictu sensu. Antics of AK will boomerang on AAp government for sure, decimating their dream rise to seat of position. All in all, a bad episode in chapter of governance.

A very Good Post. Precisely explained the controversy surrounding Jan Lok Pal or rather JokePal. There is enough of Nautanki being played by Arvind Kejriwal which proves He doesn’t want to take responsibilities except create a scenes of innocence. Now Kejriwal is eyeing LS polls and have forgotten Delhi. Today, Yogendra Yadav also clarified Party’s position that they will fight LS polls with maximum seats possible. Thank You.
AAP claims to work on public perception..but fact is they never try to know or assess public perception…Their media cell does not read report nor produces all report to working committee. The same was Inidira attitude too. We all know her fate..
