A desperate bid by Janardan Dwevedi to hoist the name of Priyanka Gandhi to salvage the sinking boat of Congress for 2014 election is admission of disaster for Congress in this election. Can Priyanka bring transformation of dying Congress is very doubtful? If Priyanka comes and occupies the center stage in Congress, it will sideline RahulG from the big role which he has assumed but she will bring with her the baggage of Robert Vadra who has been ducking the aimed attack of opposition.
SoniaG,RahulG and PriyankaG Vadra always maintained stoic silence on all important issue in the last 10 Yrs with regard to the issues which have been biting common man and the lame duck Prime Minister always maintained silence is gold for him and thus remained deaf,dumb and blind to the oppressive politics of Congress. P.C.Chacko, a veteran Congress leader had already found an scape goat in MMS for the rejection of Congress in this election. Even Jayaram Ramesh found that MMS has proved to have an impeccable track record but found lack of communicative skill to propagate the achievements to the people. I feel like opening my lungs with big laughter on achievements of UPA-II which broke all records of making our nation almost broke. Every one whether he knows economics or not knows the disaster of economic situation of our nation and felt the pinch on his pocket and big hole created on his family budget.These Congress leaders enjoyed all the ten years when people were suffering and could not raise their voice for the suffering millions of the nation.On the contrary, they justified all lapses of the government.
When electioneering started, RahulG and SoniaG kept on lambasting Modi of his failures of Gujarat model as if it was going to be a vote for Gujarat government and not on the performance of UPA-II. The entire Ruling and Opposition joined their hands to gather to abuse Modi as if Narendra Modi was in power at the central government and had committed serious lapses in governance. They made themselves laughable but would not desist from attacking Modi. They would not answer Modi on lapses he points against UPA in his rallies. They would not explain their conduct on the scams as they had nothing to say.They would also not respond why government failed to bring any solace to the people.They would also duck all questions on misgovernance. When they were maladministering the nation,they thought some Lilly pops like Lokpal Bill,Food Security Bill etc.would allure the people to bring them back to power.
But people this time would not be fooled by the Lilly pops and would punish them by throwing them out. This process started from the last election of four states where Congress was shown the door.People started howering around Modi and showed confidence in him. Rally after rally people swelled in numbers and endorsing Modi. I saw a programme on CNN-IBN conducted by Sagarika Ghose from Sahrarabad, Gr.Noida. She was interviewing Dalits and Muslims.They all unequivocally asserted that they would vote for Modi for his development agenda and for his decisive leadership. Muslims even rejected Sagarika`s suggestion on riots and favoured Modi`s good governance and development agenda. It was a startling revelation and endorsement for Modi.
Faced with this piquent situation, Congress have tossed Priyanka as if what SoniaG and RahulG could not do. Priyanka will wipe out the sins with one smile and her resemblance with Mrs.Indira Gandhi. Where was she when 2G scam broke? Where was she when Commonwealth Games scam took place and Kalmadi was jailed? Where was she when 144 coal blocks were allotted illegally by Manmohan Singh? Did she raise any voice when Nirbhaya was raped and murdered? Did she raise her voice when people were suffering on account of steep price rise? Did she ever object to Vadra making slash money on sale-purchase of lands in Haryana and Rajasthan?Did she not enjoy the crores of illegally earned wealth? Did she raise any voice when honest officers like Ashok Khemka and Durga Shakti Nagpal was being punished? Did she undergo sleepless nights when Muzaffarnagar riots broke and Muslims had to spend freezing nights in the relief camps where several children died of cold? These and many other questions will haunt her when she steps out to lead Congress.
By now people have made up their minds to throw out Congress and some body said even Mahatma Gandhi can not save Congress from meeting its Waterloo and is bound to sink.One thing different will happen,so far Modi has not attacked personal integrity of Gandhi family except attacking Vadra on land deals from Kuruchetra, Haryana If Priyanka comes to lead the party, she has to answer many questions on her own integrity and the integrity of her family.2014 election would become much easier for Modi.

Like this Prinka is not free from that stigma due her bhoomafia Husband .Therefore I am of the opinion that even Prianka cannot help salvage the sinking ship of congress .
