Liberty, The Immortal Spirit

‘Immortal Spirit ’ is the recognition of the immortal spirit of liberty  which lives on through generation after generation of mankind.

Span of  life of a man is limited but the spirit of man is immortal.Mankind has forever progressed ,era after era, owing purely to the immortality of the spirit of  man . Liberty is the wind that blows through valleys across mountains  and deserts ,beyond the oceans. It has no barriers or frontiers .

Liberty is the indomitable spirit found in the nectar of life ; in the massof amended laws and in the illumination of knowledge that has been lighting up minds of mankind since times immemorial. Soul of man is stirred by the spirit of liberty living on through the stages of evolution of mankind.

Liberty is in action always. This takes the shape of retrospection, inspection and examination of prevailing systems by the affected parties.

A rebel is not one who deviates from the norm but one who seeks to re-direct the positive forces of society for a focused growth of mankind. This is brought out in a lucid manner by the poet in ‘Rebel’.

The resistance put up by those protesting perceived anomalies and defects in a system gets translated into action when they successfully spearhead such fights against tyrannical and oppressive rule.

Poets, philosophers and prophets –all fall under this bracket .As do the scientists and artists who too are rebels as is the common man in his own right .That is the wonderful array of rebels who spring from within the system of a society reminding one and all about the immortality of the spirit of liberty .

Unless liberation of man takes place , peace and order cannot prevail nor can there ever be any progress in the fields of creativity such as fine arts or in the realm of scientific research and technology.

Evolution of mankind and the motto of every such rebel is to refashion the globe and renew the order of things in a society. Rule of law gains newer meanings and it gets translated into a world different from earlier and currently existing styles of governance of man .

All wrongs are set right and disorder gives way to stability which alone is the basic factor for all progress, growth or development .A rebel is, therefore, no outlaw nor outcast of the society but a welcome representative of the people .Unless such opposition is exhibited, things cannot be straightened. Slavery and exploitation of man by man has been wiped out from life in a democratic society only on account of such a rebellious attitude of man .

Rebels are not mute spectators nor silent sufferers of injustice , inequities and disequilibrium in the society. Ever alert , the tribe of rebels awaken the sleeping masses to the real purpose and spirit of liberty . Liberty is the free flow of thought which gets translated through the actions of rebels to restore justice and rule of law.

Transformation of a society is enabled by the direct or indirect contributions of the rebel in man . Dynamics of societal governance are propelled by the catalytic influence of the rebels. Ever vigilant to the needs of the time , the cry of the rebel has its definite impact on the affairs of mankind. Rulers are made to review the rules and the paramount supremacy of the rule of law is re-emphasized time and again .

Liberty that resides in the heart and mindsets of such rebels comes out in full force to break the shackles of servitude. Liberty  is the spirit residing in such people which takes its shape as the resilience of mankind.

A typical rebel constantly endeavors to evolve ways and means of immortality of mankind by trying to permeate and transcend the frontiers of cosmos, science and religion . He seeks to challenge the divinity of nature itself and go beyond the political ideologies, systems and experimentation-process. To him, man is a far superior being than the summation of all mindsets of man himself.

Liberty is the freedom to engage and indulge in such redefinitions and revitalization of mankind . It is the spirit of existence and the defining force of existentialism of a constitutional framework . Liberty is, hence, the central pillar upon which a constitution is founded and rests.
