India is not Islamophobic!

‘India, that is Bharat’ is a large nation created out of treaties entered into by the newly carved Nation with hundreds of erstwhile princely States.
The ‘Monarchy’ form of governance-system gave way to the concept of a people’s Republic. A federal structure with bicameral system of Legislative wing and unitary form of Government came into existence.
The Constitution adopted by the Constituent Assembly ensured that Legislature, Executive and Judiciary remain the three strong pillars with ‘check and-balance’ provisions ensuring that power does not vest in hands of any one segment resulting in any possible ominous situation of ‘absolute power corrupting absolutely’ and thereby destroying the very objective of a long and painful freedom struggle against the oppression of the departing colonialists.
In contrast, was the carving away of the mainland on both the western and eastern sides to form a fundamentalist new country called as Pakistan.
Those who were proclaimed self confessed blood thirsty fanatics and embraced Sunni sect of wahabi Islam were given these two regions bordering a ‘Secular’ Indian nation.
As events came to pass and History heaves a sigh of relief, East Pakistan was liberated and got christened as Bangladesh. Another Islam-professing land which has been turned into a textile manufacturing ghetto by advanced nations from far off West.
1947 to 2020 have been watershed years both for the World as a whole and the Indian nation, in particular: landmark reforms in various fields of human enterprise and technological developments have greatly enhanced the overall growth of societies adhering to the ‘rule of laws which are humanitarian and rest on natural principles of Justice’ But, not Pakistan which has not been able to beat its repetitive spate of military coups where ‘democracy’ is but a label and a continuous tussle for power waged between its military wing and the fanatical band of mullahs who seek a theological State.
Both of these factions reduce the elected regime of Pakistan to be but a stop-gap arrangement between two coups staged by its ever over ambitious military corps.
Here crops the question as to how can an avowedly Islamic State which goes by a ‘Holy Book’ rule claim to shun its robes of hatred towards ‘non believers of Islam’ and stop going on killing sprees with guns and other weaponry under diktat from long bearded one eyed pirates of religion?
In total contrast are great democratic nations like the USA and India who welcome the existence of people adhering to different Faiths alongside each other, under one Flag and one National Anthem.
India is a good example of Humanism, thanks largely to it being a Hindu majority land.
Hinduism bases itself on the magnificent concepts of DHARMA and KARMA. Peace, Absolute Consciousness and Compassion towards all fellow beings (including animals, birds, trees and inanimate objects too form the tenets of universalism expounded by Spirituality bound HINDUISM.
This is the very reason why several foreigners-friends and foes have been able to take advantage of the inimitable Hospitality and Kindness of Hindu land, Bharatvarsh(be it the Moguls, Chinese, Dutch,
It would take one Indian who is fortunate and broad minded to interact with fellow citizens [who are actually professing Christianity, Islam, Buddhism,
Life itself is ‘unreal’ and reality is the only truth that every one of us come into this world to perform a destined role and act in right earnest until the Soul departs the Being to take refuge in another form or creature based upon the balance sheet of deeds (righteous and wrongful ) undertaken during a ‘birth’ in the present form of a human. Life is but a mirage but man’s ego and material possessions are akin to the mirage.
The oasis will be the joy spread and sorrows shared with fellow citizens. World turns a desert the moment one shuts his or her mind and heart to the right to a life of dignity, equality and honour of anyone not professing an identical religion.
This is exactly what defines the common characteristic Indian population wherever they reside on Planet Earth.
It is not uncommon to see Indian citizens mingling happily and breaking bread with visitors from fanatical regimes like Pakistan. The acts of cross-border terrorism by Pakistani leaders is intolerable as it is no act of compulsion but reflects more of a manic compulsive disorder : it seeks to usurp,grab,kill and indulge in even more horrible, gruesome acts of genocide’.
India on the other hand is a truly ‘secular’ and democratic nation where the masses and the upper classes too lead a life of social interdependence and mutual respect via-a-vis citizens who profess to follow Islam as a way of life.
There is NO ill will or distinction between Hindu citizens and citizens who profess to follow Christianity or Islam or any other listed offshoots of these major religions of the last thousand years.
How come?
It is because of the broad mindedness of Hindus who do not mind attending a gathering or festive celebration of the other religions. Hindu citizens well know that a great majority of Muslims and Christians of India do not consume the ‘Prasadam’ or offerings like sweet dishes which their Hindu friends share with them, in wholesome love and affection as fellow compatriots :and yet, partake and share religiously.
It is not as though the citizens of India who profess Islam are any less humane.
I would bet on any poor Muslim citizen of the country rising up to help even a non Muslim in distress as compared to anyone from the rest of society. This is a fact of life!
Who then has been driving a wedge between the two larger communities of Hindus and Muslims in India?
One has had many an occasion to interact from close quarters with those humble Muslims who rose to meteoric heights of power in India as well as those ex Royal Muslims of the late Nizam of the Asif Jahi dynasty and their predecessor dynasty of Quli Qutub Shah who had to bite dust on account of treachery from within their community circles.
A contemporary case study is a classic example.
A small-time brief-less advocate who used to travel by cycle rickshaw crafted his way to become a Corporator in old city of Hyderabad and he rigged his way to become a Member of Legislative Assembly and jettison himself to become Member of Parliament.
He ensured that the rhetoric of ‘hatred’ spewed by his likes and echoed by beasts masquerading as press corps allowed his sons to ‘succeed’ him as M.P. and a M.L.A. the third one runs their ‘newspaper’ and business interests. Both toe his line of spewing venom against Hindu citizens, to brainwash minds of millions plus poorest of poor or rowdy citizens professing to follow Islam to assume they are living, breathing, eating,
Anyone from within the Muslim Community who questions the accounts and functioning of the duo are never seen alive again.
It is not out of place to note in this context of things that those few other political leaders from the Muslim segment of India are either rickshaw drivers or taxi drivers or dons with hoary mafiaso past . No educated Muslim has ever dabbled with these pseudo leaders.
Speaking of leadership, Islam has been dogged with and universally divided over the perennial conundrum of -‘ Who was the successor of Prophet Mohammed’?
Why do Shias love Imam Ali?
Why do Sunnis not fast during the long fasting Ramadan holy month or why do Sunnis not visit Dargahs, like the Shias do?
Why do the Sunnis not observe Muharram, mourning period so fastidiously followed by mourning Shia Muslims?
Why are there only one or two names mouthed and projected as Leaders of Muslims although 72 sects exist in Islam-one for each disciple of the revered Prophet?
Why do the duo who are Sunnis court Dargahs with Hundi collections of Shias?
India is a glorious example of love for all things human.
We strongly denounce all kinds of butchery, hated, fanatics, animal killing, narrow minded criminals in garb of political or other societal animals.

How did they rise to the top unless the majority Hindus and the ‘freebies Christians’ (who got vast tracts of land and free English education from the departed colonialists of England) cooperated and loved them as equals?
It is not untrue that instances of dirty tricks phenomena of ‘love jihad’ and ‘don led bomb blasts have terrorised whole of India:resulting in a worldwide fear of all things associated with the great salutation of -‘allahohakbar’!
If the USA and China be afraid of terrorism by fanatical Muslims, is it wrong in part of few helpless Indian citizens to be as scared of unseen monsters lurking amidst us all?
If the Pope of Christians can travel from the Vatican to Middle East and bow to a Muslim there, does Christianity any longer enjoy a moral right to even whisper in protest against Jihads and Crusades launches by fanatical elements, worldwide?
Both are desert religions.
The adherents feel insecure and live in herds and communities who flock together.The periodical Friday or Sunday congregation is a symbol attesting to this fact of medieval history of the world.
Brute force to conquer power and claim what belongs to others should end. Amen!
India is NOT a so-called ‘Islamophobic’ country.
The living testimony of this is the regard shown to Quran shareef by the organisers of Sri Ramachandraswamy Janmabhoomi Mandir bhoomi puja who have given the first invitation card to the Muslim petitioner who had been instrumentalist a protracted litigation over land rights of the Lord’s Abode.
It is the few political beasts and their bands of vagabonds with criminal gangs who have been crying hoarse about Islamophobia in India.Their handlers in the mole press media are the culprits that add fuel to fire.
Islamiphobia is an imaginary ghost of desi politics.
The fall of shuddh Hindi and replacement of makke da roti and rajma chawal with Biryani ;the vanishing act of Carnatic Music with Sufi genre of songs taking over; the triple talaq being banned to give succour to Muslim womenfolk of India are glowing examples that glare back at the ones who dare to divide citizens of India on lines of Christians versus Muslims; Muslims versus Hindus; Jains versus Buddhists; Jews versus Parsis; Sikhs versus Muslims or Hindus; and so on.
For, if at all India was suffering from Islamophobia, Sikhs would have exterminated all Muslims since their Holy Gurus had given them the five instructions only with a view to end the race of assassins of their Guru and Sons.
Fortunately, India is heading towards a #NewIndia where technological advancements and ‘roti-kapda-makan for all citizens’ has become the mainstay of all public policy.
Religion is to be worn as one would wear a vest, within and not visible to the world outside.
Laws are not coloured. Caste and minority reservation provisions can be rendered redundant if more and more job opportunities are created not in ‘bubble-sectors’ but tangible economic activities.
Western leaders like the present President of USA may subscribe to Islamophobia but we, the people of India, DO NOT.
Much to the chagrin of terror-spewing fundamentalist gangs in Pakistan and elsewhere,quite a few Muslim citizens of India admit that Lord SriSitaRamachandra was a ‘paigambar’ ( prophet ) but that Mohammed (peace be upon him) was the last prophet on Earth.
Mahatma Gandhi (may his soul rest in peace as well) too believed that it was better to let an enemy like disposition even cut off from the motherland in order that those believing in co-existence and ‘vasudaiva kutubikam’ enjoyed liberation from both foreign yoke and evil fanatics!
Later day generations can little understand this foresighted support for partition of India.
Yet, these very ‘enlightened minds’ turn a Nelson’s Eye when the largest Stare in south India was split by greedy parliamentarians with vested agenda, in a mere twenty minutes of pandemonium created on floor of the Parliament!
Terrorists may hail from Islam but India’s Muslims are not terrorists. Pakistan is a known safe-house and Sanctuary for terrorism.This subtle difference must be pointed out to foreign commentators.
India boasts of a Constitution which aims at providing Justice – social, economic and political,to all citizens. It is a secular nation meaning that religion is a non influencing factor in the determination of public policy.
This real meaning of the word -‘secular ’ has to be translated by present absolute majority Parliament: enact an uniform civil code;let go of discriminating policies that have already inflicted untold damage to sentiments and lifestyle of Hindus; Temples be freed from State control(on par with Churches, Mosques, Synagogues,
Thus,a thousand other similar small tweaks in the existing Laws of India can help erase the murky ‘communal divide’ plank created by the wily Goras post World War One.
On a historic day, let the date with mythology keep its tryst with destiny.
