THE ‘FOREIGN-HAND’

THE ‘FOREIGN -HAND’

By Pamarty Venkataramana

Fear.
Terror.
Mass hysteria.

Greed. Envy. Jealousies. Grudges. Prejudice. Bias. Selfishness. Parochialism.

Constitutional democracy has self-declared communists, fanatic and parochial members seated in the August Houses of Parliament and various State Legislatures.

Preamble to the Constitution has a simple signature-tune of Equality- social, political, economic.

Time-bound reservation for castes comprising of under-privileged, oppressed and suppressed sections of the multi-layered society split over centuries of foreign invasions, be it Viking-class of Europe or Monster-gene moguls, has been shamelessly extended decade after decade by the corrupt congress governments. Out of fear of losing minority-category of votes in the polls.

Even the nationalist party in power enjoying an absolute majority shies away from an electric remedying of the anomalies citing majority being enjoyed by the opposition party & allies in the so-called Upper House of elders albeit the said villain having a minuscule number in the Lower House of the People.

Battle between elders and People’s reps? Upper House vs. Lower House?

Enter anarchy party, founded, sponsored and nurtured by all the scamsters who are presently taking a respite from public-glare, either on foreign shores or in hospitals or in private farmhouses.

This, by no way, is a white-paper on ‘state of society’ nor any sort of indictment, of anybody, by whatever stretch of imagination. Neither is it the rambling of a helpless witness to history of the country. A mere ‘fact-sheet’ . Statement of facts.

So, fear is the key.

To hold an entire billion-plus nation to ransom!

By external terrorists. By their moles who enjoy in royal treatment within the motherland, more owing to ignorance of hidden facts by the largely innocent population who are busily engaged in an everyday-struggle for existence.

Food, clothing, shelter, fuel, water are all necessities of life which are scarce. Reason attributed being rising population.

A very few numbers of experts  attribute it to a faulty, systematic deterioration in public distribution, food-storage or outright pilferage of stocks aided by corrupt coterie who swindle the Exchequer of vast amounts of allocated funds, etc.

All complain of subsidies on LPG, petrol, diesel but none seeks to demand the introduction of mobile refilling-stations at petrol-bunks or across each mandal in the country where tractor-trolleys would go and replenish the stocks of public-consumption.

This will dramatically halve the cost of each LPG cylinder or the per liter cost of petrol & diesel. We presently have only about 30% of total domestic consumption of fuel requirements and import the remaining 70% at huge costs, financial as well as diplomatic compromises. An open secret!

Yet another startling truth is that India has fluid-oil reserves which are much greater in quantity than even Saudi Arabia.

So, why not let private-operators set up these refineries and in no time, cut down our fuel-Bill to neutralize the balance-of-payments position?

In a bid to appease a known monopolist, the Government-in-power need not succumb to fear of a reprisal by goons or any other machination by vested-interests.

Please the Ambanis and Adanis in a fashion best suited to the enormous employment generated by them in this and other high-tax areas of business sectors. But, release the noose from around the neck of every national of India.

These bigwigs are nationalists by heart.

After all, they have stepped in to provide millions of avenues and opportunities where predecessor-governments had failed by imposing ban on recruitment by Central Government!

Evolve a formula to exchange space exploration and aeroplane manufacture to the giant ,for letting the oil production activity to be privatized, immediately.

Post-GST environment shall be an opportune time to do away with subsidies and render cheaper cost of supply of the crucial consumption of fuel in domestic sector.

The motherland is feeling asphyxiated by such draconian-policies of erstwhile Congress- government which are still in vogue after the Peoples’ Prime Minister has completed nearly half the first tenure of office.

So, once the global oil-bill of our country disappears, utilize wizardry of fiscal-planning and technology by innovating and structuring a life of free earning of income by individuals ( without the fear of taxation ). Even otherwise, it is an open knowledge that cost of collection of taxes is much higher than the gross collections netted by the  tax-department.

As stalwarts like Mr. Subramaniam Swamy too have been supporting this much-mouthed removal of personal tax regime which in anyway acts more as a fodder to sustain the haloed tribe of auditor in private practice and replacement by a ‘transaction tax’, the Cabinet would do well to introduce this measure in the budget of 2017!  A singular reason why the Modi Government would be automatically voted back to power in 2019 elections.

Likewise, turn Jodhpur or any other portion of the desert region in Rajasthan as a Tax-free haven. Watch entire advanced world shift out of Dubai to this newer spot in India.

In a post-Brexit era of world-trade and currency-dips entailed with devaluation ( the Chinese yuan is already devalued by 30% ), this assumes much significance.

And, the all-knowing pundits of television-studios too would echo once these changes are effected. Someone sound the enigmatic, huge Union Cabinet of these crying needs.

In national – interest!

Pragmatism, not short-sightedness or fear of reprisal can ensure success on the economic ,fiscal, industrial policy matters too.

This was valiantly exhibited in practice by the great Indian defense forces in recent surgical strikes against a terror-land, in our backyard.

Thus, only a multi-pronged brave strategy in multi-sectors resulting in a radical transformation of the idea about what exactly is the role, task, privilege assigned to a citizen, the voter and a popular Government-in-power can be observed by all those almost maniacal, anti-people, anti-national leaders, in the past seven decades .

It is the nation which is bigger than even a giant of a leader as Honourable Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Damodardas Modi Ji or wealthy industrialists like Ambanis, Tatas, Birlas, Adanis and the many other neo-wealthy business houses that have emerged in the post-Harshad Mehta period.

Banks need special attention. So, they no longer appear to be sitting-ducks even as these holy-cows of the system are being milked dry by rogue elements abetted by short-sighted, deadwood planning coterie(who of course, conveniently ascribe the ‘foreign-hand’ to be the culprit !).

That is a subject for a voluminous paper meant only for attention of the ‘pratham-sewak’ of India .

The ‘foreign-hand’, after all (things said and considered), is wholly ‘desi’, it seems.
