It is commendable an achievement,nay-almost enviable to see the growth and rise of a young lad who lost his father at an young age to a gruesome political assassination allegedly committed by mercenaries who came to India from a foreign shore;was virtually under house-arrest like exile from the open world outside;had no real educational feathers worth their shine barring the ornate plumes acquired by money-power and lost youth-hood to few addictions imbibed into him by spoilt wealthy family friends as well as foes within the circle , to be crowned chieftain of one of the oldest political outfits in the free world of a people’s democracy!
Three cheers to the child of destiny !!!
An oaf of a person whose persona only radiates dark diffidence ( lack of confidence) and fumbles,mumbles,tumbles over and over and over again … Pappu !
Sad reality show no more a television-show but turns into a nightmarish reality . Pulp fiction publishers step aside as Pappu becomes the new comic caricature of an ignoramus aspiring to become master of a billion plus strong rich nation…
Rahul has had a meteoric rise – from being a protectee child who lost his youth-hood to vagaries of political circumstances to becoming an important voice of dissent to strongman patriotic leader,Prime Minister Narendra Modi to getting elected as President of the Congress party itself with unanimous support of known old warhorses and a former Prime Minister and former Presidents of India is a saga which every eligible citizen would nurture as a pet dream !
Pappu is the one apparently afflicted with a foot in mouth disease and his lack of real knowledge becomes a loud and clear
fact.
The first is the little boy in the tale of the Emperor’s New Clothes but has metered by leaps and bounds to be symbolical of the Emperor himself in that tale!
Rahul to Pappu or will an over-confident establishment enable the Pappu-lad to transform into an astute Gulliver in Lilliputian island of desi-politics ?

One,there is a Rahul in every son of a desi politician today.
Two,each of these sons are a reflection of Pappu – the puppet on a chain.
