An eve. Another Christmas Eve. All of us in the non namaz world are aware of this date. Christmas. Yuletide. Season of loved ones around. Greeting all world.
Yes!
Across the years,name Santa has gained more prominence with this festival of love and bonding .
Why so?
Bond of mankind. Love for materialism. Nay!
Marketing whizz . Buzz of presents. Time for retribution or distribution?
More an annual opportunity for making amends and to let love spread its wings of affection,care and sublime humane faces..!
Yet!
May this Christmas Eve help restore sanity to see His presence than these presents which reflect spirit as Diwali-the festival of Lamps and sharing .
As with every other festival that showers as well as shares the bonding nature of all of us- the rest of humanity who celebrate Christmas many times over – as Sankranthi, as Pongal,as Gudi Padua,as Onam,as Guru Pournima,as Vaikunta Ekadasi,as baisakhi,as Dassera,as Holi, as Ugadi and several other days as occasions to commemorate life. And,living life as a boon !
May the friction between different sects of Christianity end soon just as this day and night are celebrated in bonhomie as One Festival of all – united,together and universal . It’s not just the traditional ones that join in this joint celebration of a most religious unison of the western world but also all those converts who got influenced by zealous missionaries that reached out to the eastern hemisphere of this blue watered , green-trees planet !
The rest of us Anglophile Earth join in – since our respective cultures respect this wonderful religion of sacrifices,sharing and unity too..
India 🇮🇳 however urgently requires an uniform civil code to help translate this overtly Christian value of one nation , one community of men and women into a society knit together by law and one constitution!
May all those who support as well as oppose the Italian woman driven congress party in India join hands to resolve and bring in an uniform civil code by the turn of next Christmas festival .
This alone ought to be the singular carol of joy,happiness and real Christmas spirit in our land of togetherness, tribulations and testimony to existence of Christ in the Himalayan northernmost State of Jammu & Kashmir for all the years he was known to have resided in …
