Opposition parties in general & Congress Party in particular are raising the demand of setting up a judicial probe or something of that sort to look into the issue of Bugging transport minister’s house in-spite of denial from Government side about such incident.

Their contention is that Government is telling a lie & hence it is a case of breach of parliament privilege & breach of oath taken by the minister(s). Today in Rajya sabha, there were sharp exchanges in the Rajya Sabha between the opposition members and the treasury benches over the issue, with the opposition adamant on a debate saying it is a breach of privilege over which the government can even be dismissed.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venakaih Naidu stated, “I have to set the record straight. There is no need of an inquiry without any substantive reason.” & he dismissed their demand straightway.

I don’t know the legality of such demand but I feel government should not avoid discussion of any such issue in the parliament because there are many more such or more serious issues pertaining to UPA Government misdeeds.

I will give to only one example.

Ex-External Affairs Minister of Congress Government & a very close associate of Sonia Gandhi Kuwar Natwar Singh is to publish his book “One Life is Not Enough”. In his book, he has revealed that Ex-PMO official Pulok Chaterjee used bring official files regularly to show them to Sonia Gandhi. Sonia Gandhi was/is President of Congress Party & never had any Government Official position and authority to see official files. The same claim was made by Sanjay Baru, former press adviser to then PM Manmohan Singh, claimed in his book “The Accidental Prime Minister: The Making and Unmaking of Manmohan Singh

I don’t know the law regarding this one. But I know that once you take oath of secrecy then you can’t reveal the official contents to anyone except to such person who is 1. under oath of secrecy & 2. is connected to that particular subject. Hence showing file to Sonia Gandhi is nothing but breach of oath. If Dr. Mammohan Singh & his ministerial colleagues knowingly allowed such things to happen then they have committed gross misconduct & are liable to be prosecuted under relevant rules.

Government must appoint a very high powered judicial committee, as demanded by congress MPs, under sitting/retired Supreme Court judge to investigate these matter very seriously. If these revelations are true and Dr. Manmohan Singh Government had acted against the oath of secrecy & Sonia Gandhi is equal partner in such act(s)., then both of them along with then ministers must be prosecuted under law with most deterrent punishment so that such things never happen again.

[color-box color=green]A Tale piece: In his book, Natwar Singh revealed that the story of “Inner Voice” was cooked by Sonia Gandhi to create emotional ripples in Indian people heart. The actual story behind the refusal of Prime Ministerial Post is the pressure exerted by Rahul Gandhi. He feared that his mother may also be killed the way his father Rajiv Gandhi & grandmother Indira Gandhi was killed. If he was so fearful, then why he pitched for PM post in 2014 election?

Natwar Singh said Suman Dubey, Ex-PM Manmohan Singh and Priyanka Gandhi were witnesses to the meeting when Rahul Gandhi told his mother to turn down the top post contrary to the claim of Sonia Gandhi’s made that she is rejecting PM post due to her “inner voice”. There are few other theories behind her refusal. Dr Swamy claims that he was instrumental behind her refusal as he wrote to the President that why Sonia can’t be appointed as PM.

What ever may be the reason, India is very thankful of her refusal. Only God knows what would have happened to India, had Sonia Gandhi accepted the PM Post. Reacting to Natwar Singh’s book’s revelation about her abdication of Prime Minister’s throne, Sonia Gandhi said that she would write her own book and ‘reveal the truth’. Very good. Will she reveal truth behind all the scams happened in UPA-I & II too?[/color-box]

  1. Sir well written. To the point. An enquiry is a must . This is a breach of security.

  2. I appreciated your article wherein you have made a strong point for enquiry in SoniaG affair. You may be right but I failed to persuade myself for any such enquiry.Narendra Modi may succeed proving Sonia a blatant lier but that will not absolve him from fulfilling his promises made to the ppl.NaMo Gvt.us working hard to deliver his promises made during electioneering. He should not divert his attentions on his cherished goal which had set before his government.

    1. You are right but Modi is proving himself a soft target for such things. He has to reply in befitting manner otherwise wolves will eat his flash

      1. Modi does not like to look vindictive. He is a shrewed politician unparellel and parexcellent. He will score fast on delivering his promises but slow on taking on to Congress and SoniaG but his actions will have telling effect on them.Just wait and you will be astonished.

  3. Facing the Public requires Courage. To have Courage one needs to have inner strength. If there was enough inner strength and courage, she would own up the Truth instead of having clandestine meeting with Natwars and Imams. She is a symbol of cowardice compounded with Greed and as some say, Lust.

  4. Sir!Nice and well written article of the Sonia nd her croonies. She was never fit for peon post but say naआल्लाह मेहरबान और गधा पहलवान।She just hooked RajivG nd became the Queen.Natwar singh is also not realiable. He is licking his wounds as UPA2 did not give any post to him.Well .Yes.Namo shud not pay heed to their demands.
