Crackers. Noise. Bustle.
Oh, the mosquitoes flee.
All enjoy sweets, laughter, gifts.
Spirit of love .
Variety of lamps adorn the walls, houses, streets.
All is well.
Good triumphs. Evil groans. Humanity smiles.
Egotist ones turn most humble.
Children imitate Elders-share, care, gift, present, donate, give, receive.
Happiness.
Joyous atmosphere.
Infectious smiling hearts.
Life,a Blessing.
Bribes? No, just gifts .
Tokens of love .
A festive occasion.
Poverty?
Hunger?
Scarcity of food?
Where? All have plentiful, to share, exchange, donate too.
News channels too speak of only gifts, sweets, lamps.
No terrorists. Nor racism.
Enough of negativity.
So, stretch festivities.
Let humanism prevail.
Every which day.
Life was such. All across India.
Before they arrived- the plunderers, the missionaries, the invaders, the looters.
Heaven on Earth.
So, they destroyed. Took back wealth.
Never the good.
Customs. Traditions. Beliefs.
Religion of Positivity.
Hinduism.
Few know. Few even discern. Even fewer See. . .
