Voiceless have Volumes to Say!
All is quiet. A world asleep. No more do birds sing all day till dusk from the early morning dawn . No longer is a blanket of stars used to fall into a dreamy stupor after dinner each night!
No longer do families gather together around the supper table or engage themselves in chores of team spirit . All those they seek out are often strangers with imaginary access through internet technology and handles with an identity which endows a personality of it’s own making!
Music is downloaded and played into earplugs ! Live humming ,lilting tunes are things of the glorious past.
Polls are conducted spread over many phases in the name of upkeep of law & order . Electronic voting machines have replaced the more humane way of affixing rubber stamps against symbols on the ballot paper. Exit polls ,as astrologers of yore, are the new pundits who foresee the minds of a secret ballot process!
Voiceless . Less voices. So very noisy !
Poetry of life stilled . Still,still life evokes poetry!
Why?
Yes. The voiceless have volumes to say.
Does the Constitution afford an avenue to express freedom of living as humans ; being human and co existing as equal beings of intellect,love,compassion?
Or, are the gateways of technology turning out to be gates of hell that shut down life of heaven on earth – dubbed as a ‘democracy ‘ among men of letters and politics?
Keep the faith . The good faith . All good souls !
Voiceless we are. We have volumes to say . We have no outlet in real world . So, we rant, rave, scream and lament hoarse on virtual platforms..
Yet, time is the greatest leveler. Man made but all powerful man is but bound to prostrate before the wheels of time.
Justice is blindfolded. Just are dumbfounded. Yet, the multitude of Voiceless have volumes to say. . !
