BASKET OF DEPLORABLE
Les miserables. The elite. Never a pang of hunger . Never thirsty for water. For, good old Bacchus has blessed them with an abundant supply of wine. Other spirits pep the spirits of this club of course! Most striking feature of their sub, one existence of course is the total absence of any qualms of conscience, whatsoever..
They rule. Often born poor, ugly, wicked, evil and of uncertain ancestry with unchartered lineage, they rise as meteors. Oh, yes meteors crash. ..
Space. They create their own space as jellyfish among the whales, sharks and littler schools of fish of the mighty ocean. Bite as the piranhas they do.. More as a way of life than survival-instinct ..Attack is the best form of defense for the ilk…
To them, all those honest, principled, unknown mass of beings are just a basket of laundry to be washed, dried, dumped. As that lady (oh,an ex and aspiring again ‘ First Lady ‘) publicly titled them -‘ basket of deplorable ‘ !
Spaced out. The laudable owners of basket bask in glory of the invisible line that divides those faithful ones with this select, motley group of ‘have all’ . None dares question their immunity to law and order, system of justice, morality of society. .
Communism? No, their advocates and leaders are on par with czars of capitalism in terms of popularity, wealth, arrogance.
Socialism? Not at all. A lot as confused a herd of goats which know not which way to turn when the highway truck honks loudly.. Each unto own is their adage. Collective bargaining is but a term their pamphlets mouth and unionists subscribe to,in a bid to join the clans of those ‘les miserables’,they profess to oppose..!
Priesthood. Pundits. Scholars. Teachers. Doctors. Lawyers. Engineers. As shrewd as Frederick Winslow Taylor, who propounded ‘ motion study ‘ , ‘ time study ‘ as ‘scientific management ‘ watching co-brick-layers in action.
Oh yes. There you are! These brick layers of edifices of institutions of a throbbing modern society have been reduced to just that -‘ basket of deplorable ‘ !!!
Industrialists. They take risks. And, tax challenges. Never the deplorable.
Underworld dons. They act as patrons of Law & Justice as much as they act as godfathers of the wronged and victimized sections among the basket full of deplorable.
So, are the elite the only ones blessed by an unseen force? Are they Almighty’s pets? Or, are the flock just an aberration of time measured society?
The end.
Yes. I recall a little anecdote of year 2000 A.D.
It was a visit of PotUS to Hyderabad. It was none other than Bill Clinton.
The lady junior colleagues had rushed out of office to watch him but returned singing praises of the secret service men who outshone James Bond on all counts. Half a day’s precious work was lost in the result. I was livid . Then..
The next morning, in our new office on the magnificent building Bill had come to inaugurate, his daughter Chelsea stayed back to have a little chat with yours truly. And, she as human a bring as any other!
Imagine the embarrassment one expected Hillary to undergo on impeachment of her spouse, a sitting PotUS. Instead, after two terms of Obama, as unlikely a PotUS as any other full-blooded migrant, she throws her hat.
All the Bengazi and missing mails, trashed phones and scattered scam stories splashing across the screens and papers of the globe have not shaken her faith in the innate ability of the ‘basket of deplorable’ to become as disarrayed as if they were the wrong-doers in not resorting to foul and abhorrent practices in climbing up a social-ladder to the House of Purity.
Holier than thou!
– this marks not Pope who resign from office . Or, those scapegoats that get caught in web of deceit spun by the basket-owning elite leaders in position. . !
Mayawati of India . Many other names compete to match her narcissist grandeur and sense of the angels who avenged demons .. Self-aggrandizement. Megalomania.
And, a total disgust for propriety and manners expected in an orderly civilization of mankind. Can the likes of these two women be possessed by monsters ,real or imaginary ? Or, are they ghouls who assume mantles to dismantle systems of morality, ethics and joy of unified social interdependence in a people’s democracy?
The jackals and the swine sneer at the basket of humans. This shall continue.
How long?
As long as the basket does not bite the self-proclaimed owners of the basket !
So, what next?
Awaken. Rise as one body of thinking humans to oust these errands of system from the cogs in the wheel of governance. Withdraw support to their whims and fanciful demands – of perquisites, respectability, honor..
Anarchists and communism do not have a place in an orderly ‘ all men are equal but some are more equal than others ‘ – framework of societal systems. The latter half is suited only to the ‘animal farm’ kind of society.
Stop making Demi-gods of mortals. End the farce. No more dynasty system. Monarchies have got dissolved in the mists of time. Fanatics are a big ‘ no-no’ .
Legacy of snobs should end. All world unite. Let the basket of ‘deplorable’ turn the ‘laudable force’ .
To bring all wrong doers to justice is the foremost task of every real humanist. Else, there would remain no difference between Modi and Nero, Hillary and Mayawati, Laloo Yadav and Don Ibrahim.
To those who discern, ‘basket of deplorable’ are in fact as the ‘apple of Eden ‘ .
