Love at first sight!

Sri and Sudha started seeing each other and were hanging around. He even though living far from Sudha ‘s place still he used to get up early morning just to see her, decked up nicely and used to accompany her while she was going to her college. They started bunking classes to go to movies, beach, and temples. Each day was like a heaven to each other. They both had great chemistry towards each other. Everyone in their friend’s surroundings talked about these hot couple. She never used to share her personal life to me, though I was her good friend. Sri joined part time job to meet their expenses and he used to buy lots of gifts to Sudha. Every time he gifts her something,

She used to feel very happy. Months passed, both came to their final year degrees. They started feeling that they could not live without each other. Sri became over possessive on her and started picking up fight for silly reason like if she does not come out with him or if she doesn’t sit next to him in bus. She consoled herself thinking that it was because of his extreme love for her, he is behaving like this, he will be alright once they get married. She couldn’t wait anymore so she told her mother regarding her love affair. Her mother was hell out of shock and also equally got scared and worried of her daughter’s future. For any mother daughter’s love affair will be like a heart attack. It will be an insecure feeling. Her mother said to Sudha that if she wants her support she has to finish her education and take up some job till such time she should not see her lover or talk to him. It was a condition of Sudha’s mother. But Sudha realized that she cannot pass even one day also without seeing Sri, so she do not want to make false promises. Mother and daughter had arguments. Sudha’s mother Vimala could not hide anymore from her husband hence she conveyed the matter to him. Sudha’s father as usual a villain as shown in every romantic movie did not accept his daughter’s love affair and he temporarily stopped her from going to college. Sri came to know about the problem, he convinced his family members to speak to the girl’s family. Sri’s parents first shocked, hesitated then somehow got convinced and went to Sudha’s house to ask for marriage. Sudha’s father was very adamant in his views and the talks got failed.

  2. Mature story. Nice message to youngsters

  3. This Narrative is Plaintive Indeed but the best thing was Sudha got her family(Mother and Father) back which is a significant part of her life. Hats off to her parents for accepting her again and helping her throughout. Thank You for sharing. God bless Janani and her friend Sudha.

  4. Janani Amma, I felt sad at the end of your storey for your friend Sudha.A hurried decision on her part, her parents who were real friend was completely ignored.Moral of the storey is an opener for modern day children who are not prepared to listen to their parents who are the best friends.
